Astrid Lafaut Miss Vlaanderen 2025

Astrid Lafaut, daughter of Koen Lafaut and employed in our company, made it to the finals of the Miss Belgium competition on February 15. She shares her story:

"I am Astrid Lafaut, 23 years old. I work in my father's family business, the hatchery. As a young girl, I dreamed of participating in Miss Belgium. In June 2024, my wonderful adventure began as a candidate for Miss Belgium 2025! On September 14, 2024, I won the crown as Miss West Flanders 2025 and Miss Public West Flanders 2025. After that, I received the amazing news that I had become a finalist for Miss Belgium 2025.

With great enthusiasm, I continued my adventure and embarked on an incredible journey to Egypt with my 31 fellow candidates—a trip where friendship, beauty, and dreams come together. I want to be a voice and an inspiration for young people struggling with mental health issues. On February 15, 2025, during the final, I was crowned 2nd runner-up Miss Belgium 2025, Miss Flanders, and Miss Social Media 2025!

With the hatchery as my sponsor, I am extremely grateful for this magical opportunity and experience! I will continue my modeling career and remain committed to charitable causes, hoping to inspire and motivate young people. If you truly want something, you can definitely achieve it."
